Sumer Concerts

HNPL Partners and Friends will be teaming up with the Friends of the Cicero Parks to sell refreshments at two of the concerts to be held at the Cicero library pavilion.  We will split the proceeds. 

• Sunday, June 10th (6-8 PM)  Sell ice cream.
• Sunday, July 22nd (5-8 PM)  Hour before the concert we plan on having games, chalk drawing, etc. to draw-in families for the concert.  Then sell ice cream.

Gift Wrapping Fundraiser at Barnes & Noble

Each year, Barnes & Noble offers non-profit groups the opportunity to come in, and wrap some gifts. (purchases!) This year, the Partners & Friends will be spending some time with the wrapping paper on Tuesday, November 29 from 4 - 10 pm at the B&N Carmel/Westfield. 

Barnes & Noble provides the materials, and we provide the labor. Any donations will benefit the Partners & Friends of HNPL.

November Meeting

The next meeting of the Partners & Friends will be Monday, November 21 at 6.30 pm.  We will meet in the basement of the Atlanta branch.

This will be the last meeting of 2011.

October's Meeting

The October meeting of the Partners & Friends will be Monday the 17th.  We'll be meeting in the Indiana Room of the Cicero branch, starting at 6.30 pm.

Partners & Friends Quilt Raffle

The Partners & Friends of HNPL are raffling off a quilt for the holidays.

Tickets are $1/each, or $5/6 tickets.

The drawing will take place on December 1, and the quilt will be presented to the winner during Christmas @ the Library on December 8.


The quilt was handmade by the Atlanta branch quilting group.
